The University of California San Francisco Center for Health Equity in Surgery and Anesthesia (UCSF CHESA) and the Global Surgery Student Alliance (GSSA) invite abstracts for the 2022 Global Surgery: Lessons from Pediatric Global Surgery Symposium.

Abstracts will be selected using the following criteria:

• Work relevant to any aspect of surgical and perioperative care in low- and middle income countries, under-resourced settings, or community organizations.

• Work related to pediatric surgical and perioperative care will be prioritized.

• All submissions using data from low- and middle-income countries, under-resourced settings, or community organizations must have authors from these communities.

• Must have the following section: Background, Study objective, Methods, Results, Conclusions.

• Previously presented/published materials can be submitted.

• Abstracts should be written in English.

• Maximum of 250 words.

The deadline for submission is January 23, 2022.

Submissions received by January 9, 2022 will receive feedback from the GSSA Research Team and will have an opportunity to resubmit by the deadline.
