Abstract acceptance guarantees a spot for in-person attendance and poster presentation. If you would like to attend the conference in-person regardless of abstract acceptance please submit the in-person registration form.
 

Building Resilient Surgical Systems for Forcibly Displaced Populations

 

Please choose one of the six proposed themes.

 

Abstract Guidelines: 

• Poster presentations will be in-person only.

• For research, quality improvement, and advocacy projects, please use the following format: Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusions

• Word-limit is 300 words maximum

• Please include a 100-word bio for the presenting author

• Presenting authors will be asked to submit a headshot for our program

Submission of posters is not required prior to acceptance. These guidelines are provided to inform participants in advance about the requirements. Once accepted, participants will be asked to upload digital versions of their posters before the conference in March 2025.

Poster Guidelines: 

• Suggested poster size is 36” x 48” and maximum size is 48” x 72”

• Please include a title and the affiliated authors at the top of your poster

• Please include the logo of the institution your research is affiliated with 

• Be sure to include any appropriate acknowledgments and references

• Font sizes: for titles use 120 point font, for the body use 50 to 60 point font

• Font design: Arial or Times New Roman

• Figures: 1 to 2 recommended, although not required
